Road to Hana

Here are pics from the famous drive “road to Hana” in Maui. If I were to go to Hana again, I'd do it in 2 days, with long stop offs for swimming, restaurants etc. back and forth, and an overnight or two. Except for the black sand beach the road to Hana is not very different from the drives, in Trinidad, to Maracas and Las Cuevas combined with the drive to Blanchisseuse. There were even some corners where we would have sworn we were driving to Maracas We were glad we took a tour as opposed to drive, as unless one did it over the course of 2 days, that wont be much fun for the driver

Here we are in Europe with rain, gusty winds and snow on the mountain tops and you are showing the most beautiful pictures of Hawaii. Loved them and how uplifting, Andrea

Phenomenal photographs! Thanks for sharing! I've never been to Trinidad, but may need to make the trip. I agree about staying overnight. This area is difficult to really grasp in one day. True Hana appreciation comes from slowing down and enjoying each moment, which often takes a few days. Next time you come over, check out these Road to Hana Tips. Keep up the photography! It's rare to find such professional images from someone not selling them in posters! (Much nicer than mine.) You rock!

Oh, I love your pics! We went to Maui in June, and fell in love with it! It was nice to see someone else's photos of the places we'd been, at different times of the day and from different angles! Thanks for sharing that :)
