Very beautiful tropical plants. I love all the different Ginger flowers. They are so gorgous and generous with their flowers.Scent and beauty. I haven't seen this ornamental Banana. It has similar flowers to the Heliconas but they are anyway related aren't they?

Fascinating plants - I saw some great ornamental bananas when I visited the Eden Project in Cornwall, England. Fascinating and very decorative!

Thanks, Ewa, Roses-I do try to post pics of "exotic" things for my readers in colder climates. Yes, Tatiana, they are related. Meems and Tatiania-you can also wrap food eg dumplings, empanadas, fish, for steaming etc. in the banana and shell ginger leaves.
Rusty-in yellow, purple or red, ornamental bananas are all the rage in South East Asian gardens!
