You mentioned teaching another to garden and I love that idea. When I first married many years ago my first house was next door to an older woman named Cora. Now Cora had a wonderful garden and taught me many things about gardening. Often I would step out my back door and see a small piece of a plant she had carefully layed there for me to plant. This woman was my garden mentor and I miss her greatly.<br /><br />I have been to the caribbean often and have wondered Why I did not see more vegetable gardens there? One in each yard. Your weather is suitable for all season growing. Can you tell me why this is? I envy your February tomatoes! Does this Agave die after flowering? Like the Agave attenuate does.
